My travels have taken me all over the world and into vineyards and cellars I never thought possible. Here are some of my favorite memories in some of my favorite destinations, and I hope it inspires you to experience it for yourself!

-Brandon

Woodinville/Seattle, Washington

My backyard and where I spend the most time. When not traveling abroad, I love spending my off hours with the incredible winemakers of Washington who call the westside home. The grapes are grown out east, but the majority of tasting rooms are found here!

Algarve, Portugal

The magical southern end of Portugal where the Mediterranean Sea meets the vineyards and the hot summer sun crafts some amazing red grapes, most you have probably never heard of!

Willamette Valley, Oregon

The American home of Pinot and a fantastic area with a big focus on organic and sustainable practices. More Pinot than you could possibly ask for and each clone a different taste and experience!

Moët & Chandon Grand Day 2019, Antwerp, Belgium

My wife and I were honored to attend the 150th Anniversary party for Moët & Chandon Imperial Champagne during our time in Belgium. Incredible dinner with pairings from different vintages and the venue was straight out of a fairy tale.

Alsace Wine Route, France

Alsace is where I consider the beginning of my wine journey. It was among the vines of Eguisheim, standing in front of the grapes and drinking a glass of what lie before me, that it all clicked and I knew I wanted to learn everything about the artistry that is Wine.

Épernay, Champagne, France

The “birthplace” of Champagne and home to some of the biggest Champagne houses. Most everything is found right on Avenue de Champagne which makes wine tasting a breeze and the town easy to navigate. Beautiful and historic with a small town feel.

Tuscany, Italy

The rolling hills of Tuscany make for one of the prettiest backdrops in any wine region around the world. The term “super tuscan” is no joke as these wines pack a punch of equal parts flavor and intensity. A must stop for any wine lover trekking across Europe!

Reims, Champagne, France

The nothern half of Champagne that incorporates the “city” and a gorgeous cathedral that rivals Notre-Dame de Paris, but without the crowds and lots of champagne at every turn! Some big Champagne houses are located here as well such as Veuve Cliquot and Taittinger.

Napa/Sonoma Valley, California

Almost every wine drinker in the world makes their way to Napa & Sonoma, which put America on the wine map in the 70s and hasn’t stopped growing since. Visit Napa for the luxury and Sonoma for the artsy vibe, or stay somewhere in between to enjoy them both!

Lake Chelan AVA, Washington

One of Washington’s youngest AVAs and a big vacation spot for the PNW. Wineries surround the lake and provide wonderful views in the summer months, and a fun reprieve in the winter. Tasting rooms that feature wines to satisfy everyone’s palette.

Walla Walla AVA, Washington

Outside of the Woodinville area, Walla Walla is my go-to spot. This is where the grapes are grown and the estate vineyards are beautiful. Small town with a big farming history and the soil here is some of the best in the world (as far as i’m concerned).

New Zealand

The world’s youngest wine growing country and an overall remarkable country to visit.
The wines are so diverse and fun as you move up and down the coasts of both islands, so make sure to visit both and get a feel for their diversity as well as their sense of place, which you can’t find anywhere else!
